This Week is :SAUCES  
Monday: We are on Shared Prayer first thing
                 Life Education Van visit on 'substances' first block
                 Music with Mr P in second block
                 Syndicate singing will be on next week as Hoiho are at Life Ed this week
                 Be prepared to put your hand up for swim entries
                 Road Patrol training... Yr 6's will be first then us at some point.
Tuesday: Tech
                 Last block will be Life Ed visit, unless I get a swap with another teacher, so no sports skills session in the afternoon
Wednesday: Swimming sports day at Nayland College Pool - 'Dare to Care' so cheer!!!
Come to school in PE gear with togs underneath with hats on - leave 9:05
  • school bag with ; towel, snack, jumper (may be on), water bottle and underwear
  • travel on bus with a buddy, two seniors + a junior or 3 juniors to a seat
  • Assemble south side of the pool under the shade sail
  • No changing in changing room before events, may change in seating area
  • Backstroke will be first
  • Use changing shed to change into PE gear ready to go back to school
Friday: Bring a GOLD coin for FIJI
             Home learning due

Week 4 Happenings

    • Monday - Syndicate Singing in Whio with Hoiho; Josh to set up projector/computer/list of songs ready to go; Kira, Rosa and Grace Hall to have at least one song each shared with Mrs W
    • Tuesday - Tech at Garin; Mr Phillips to go over Powhiri Waiata at 12:00 (whole school) Sports skills session with Alison, all must be in full sports gear
    • Wednesday - Powhiri Welcome to all new families at 9:45
    • Thursday - Afternoon will be Ki-o-Rahi
    • Friday - A visiting CARITAS speaker will meet with each syndicate; Constable Garland Road Patrol training for group one; Home learning to be handed in

Art Materials Wanted

The following items will be useful for our Art Unit on Clay this term.

  • Rolling pins or plastic pvc 
  • Art shirts - any old large throw away shirts
  • Newspaper
  • shells or any other imprint objects for patterns/texture
  • Named ice cream container and plastic bag for storage

What's on

Remember tomorrow is our Ash Wednesday Liturgy, where we have a special prayer time and the ashes will be marked on your forehead, in the shape of a cross. We also have to have our lenten promise letters ready for the liturgy.
